A foreign visitor or tourist arrival or departure card in Thailand is necessary. It is a two-part form that needs to be completed regardless of whether you are arriving at the airport, boat port, or overland. When you depart Thailand, you will be stamped out with an exit date in your passport, the departure card will be retained by the Thai Immigration Office.
